This dream started in an elevator around where I go to college. I believe I was moving into a new dorm. There's this girl in the elevator and for some reason I'm really horny and think she has a really good ass
and I try to grab it but she looks at me weird so I realize that's not happening. The elevator keeps going for a bit and then a friend of mine gets on. I try talking to them but they're just talking to the girl.
Eventually the elevator brings us outside and it's nighttime on campus. I feel kind of embarrassed or scared for some reason so I run away, but they find me.
Suddenly, we're all on a huge ship at night in this big storm and I'm still there with my friend. There's something where everyone on the ship is making little fabric dolls of themselves. Then the ship gets hit by a bunch of missiles.
Everything is getting unstable and the ships starts getting filled up with water. From news coverage I realize it's Russia attacking, and they're going all out and dropping miniature nukes on this war ship that for some reason I was on.
As the ship gets completely filled up with water I try to find my friend but can't, so I at least try to find their doll. I can't find either their or my doll so I just grab two that look sort of like each of us, but not very much.
I try to text my partner as they're still back home but the connection is bad. I manage to swim up to the top of the water and the ship has completely sunk by now. I see an island in the distance and start swimming towards it. I barely make it
there and once I get on land I text my partner about the situation but they don't respond immediately; I thought maybe they were asleep.
I keep going on this island I've found and it's suddenly daytime and very sunny, and I realize I'm apparently somehow in Malaysia.
I see two huge guys with turbans guarding some sort of entrance to what looks like a resort. An identical man in a turban chases out some woman from the resort who I recognized from the ship and he said she had a problem with the turbans, and I assured him
that wouldn't be an issue with me. I go into this resort and I get led down some hallways and I enter this rich guy's office. He says that he's going to experiment on me and I try to run away but I can't. I get some weird athletic martial arts powers after he experiments on me
like in the Matrix, and I use those to run away successfully this time. I'm not sure what the idea was with giving me those, but I do a spinning kick jump to get through the turban guys and am back on the shore out of the resort. I wake up at my house in my bed,
and I realize it was all a dream. I look around but I'm not sure whether everything I saw was a dream or some past event that I was remembering. My dad comes in and asks me if I really went to the Netherlands. Now I'm starting to think all that really DID happen but
then I realize that I was in Malaysia, not the Netherlands. I ask him about that and he says he asked because of my desktop wallpaper, which I look and realize is a picture of the Netherlands. Then I woke up for real.
I was back in my high school cafeteria, though the ceilings were very high and the lights were warm and dim, like a fancy restaurant. The entrance to the cafeteria led directly to the place where you get the food, and that whole "ordering section" seemed really expanded. The sole item being offered was a sort of "build your own" pastrami sandwich on black rye bread. It was called that, but the tables around had a variety of meats you could stack on that weren't really pastrami. Most notably there was this huge skewer that had accumulated this amorphous sphere of indistinct meat around it that you could peel off. The only other sandwich ingredient I could remember being available was slices of tomato. I built up my sandwich and went to the "check-out" area. This area was being manned by a teacher I distinctly remember from high school. My high school was kind of shit and for a lot of classes they couldn't get actual teachers and would make minimally competent sports coaches teach them. This guy was a football coach who taught my psychology class; I always got the impression that he was a pretty good guy, but he was really not the brightest. So he was sitting there at the check-out area and he was complaining that everyone was getting food too slow. He pulled up a statistic on his phone that out of fifteen hundred school districts in the country, we were close to the absolute bottom in check-out speed. This seemed like a fairly ridiculous concern to me and then I woke up. I never got to eat my sandwich but I could kind of "sense" the flavor from looking at it in the dream and I subsequently feel quite the craving for it.
I was driving down a dark highway at night going back home from my partner's house. It was a new car my dad had gotten (in the dream) and there was a storm brewing. The storm got intense, and the car was getting damaged by wind and hail, but I was also not driving carefully at all. I was looking away and getting distracted and veering off the road wildly, and this was damaging the car more than the storm was. By the time I got home, the car was completely beat up, and I was a little nervous about my dad seeing it, but I figured the storm was a good enough excuse. Right outside the house, it wasn't storming anymore but it was a bit snowy. A fox suddenly approached me, and I went over to it and picked it up. We looked at each other for a moment. I woke up right before I could go in the house and explain what happened with the car to my dad.
This dream began with me in my dorm at college. I was getting ready to leave somewhere, but then I was also just walking around outside. The "outside" perspective
and "inside" perspective would swap back and forth in the first part of this dream. When I was outside, I got the intuition that my mom and some other family
members were going to pick me up to go to the zoo, and I was a little anxious about this. I was back inside, and getting ready to go, but feeling like I was running
out of time. The outside version of me saw the car pull up, I got in, and my mom started chastising me about not being prepared and ruining the plan. The inside version
of me was desperately trying to get ready, but in the process of changing my clothes I found I had layers and layers of shirts, pants, and underwear, and they were
being kept on me with clips that made my clothes extremely tight around my waist, and I couldn't get them off. Eventually I guess I figured it out and I started running
out of the dorm building to catch the car, before it switched to the outside version of me that was already in the car, and my mom was getting increasingly mad as I begged
her not to leave and started to point at the "inside" version of me, which I could see exiting the building and running towards the car, but she left that version of me behind.
We drove through some weird sky-traffic for a bit before the dream changed.
I was still in college, but I was hanging out with some imaginary people that were kind of like the cast of the American High / College Life YouTube shorts. We were walking
around the campus (which was very generic and nondescript) on a bright and very nice day and talking amiably, but we weren't super close and it felt like I was more getting to know them rather than being
an established member of the group. We then went to some showers for some reason. I had just recently watched episode 6 of Lucky☆Star "Fixtures of Summer," so I think that definitely
served as an inspiration. We started undressing and getting in the showers, and everyone there was complaining that the water was very cold, but I could stand under it no problem, and I felt
a bit proud of this, and happy to be the center of attention as they were very surprised.
The dream completely changed around this point and I was on some website to play weird browser games. I was also on call with my partner and they were laughing at me about how weird the games
were. I don't remember the first few very well but they may have been horror, sort of aesthetically like Outlast despite the fact that I haven't thought about that game in a very
long time. The only game I remember was the last one before I woke up, which was called something like Don't Break the Vase. The central conceit was in each level you were in an environment
where you are engaging in a sniper battle with an enemy. You are both behind cover on opposite ends of the environment and both have sniper rifles, and you peek out from the cover to take shots
while not getting shot yourself. The twist is that there is a vase hung by a string on the ceiling that is swinging back and forth between the two of you and it's filled with poop, and you shouldn't
break it. I was in a library and I kept peeking out and getting headshots on this office worker looking woman, but they weren't doing anything. Then I woke up.
I was playing the first level of Quake (though I tend to "experience" games in dreams more than I play them) but the level theme was "Xtal" by Aphex Twin (I kind of want to actually do this now because in the dream it had a very interesting aesthetic effect; for some reason it felt very "final," like the last game at the end of the world, somehow) and I found a new secret which was behind the level and had a bunch of weapons including a plasma gun and minigun and an elevator that took me up and then the context of the dream changed and I was taking that elevator up to some big automated library for research tasks but the elevator was cracked and the library itself was damaged with holes that was letting in rain from a storm going on which meshed with a real storm as I woke up.
In this dream, which was on the night of my seventeenth birthday, I downloaded a computer program called something like "Causca" which put the image of a red geometric Cthulhu onto my screen that created visions in my head of enormous floods that were really striking and deeply scary to me at the time. I had this feeling that I had some incredibly old spirit inhabiting my computer and that it was showing me deeply ancient fears and horrors (which, I suppose, given the prevalence of ancient flood myths is kind of true).
I had a dream that I was with a young Japanese girl and that I knew that for some great reason she had to kill herself, and I could only sit by her.
I did not have very many friends as a teenager, and I had even fewer (for a while none) IRL friends. This would manifest in quite sad dreams where I would be hanging out with either an old friend that I didn't talk to anymore or people that didn't actually exist. I would always wake up with a deep sense of longing. Some of the locations were kind of interesting though; I would often be in these big empty abandoned industrial looking places but acting as if it was just a normal hang-out spot. I had a very memorable one where I was sitting and talking about the future with some people in a gigantic empty abandoned school gymnasium.
I did not actually have too many of these as a teenager despite having a fairly high libido. I had a few where I was mostly just in the presence of a naked woman and I would always wake up *right* before the moment of penetration, which was frustrating at the time but a bit funny in retrospect. I also had a few dream where someone around me would begin undressing or acting sexually, but nothing really "happened" with it. I've never had a "wet dream."
In this dream, I was in the forest by a car with a dog I knew (not my dog) before I realized that there were wolves coming after me and having to run away. Suddenly, I was in the grocery store by myself with complete freedom to buy whatever I wanted. I woke up before I could actually take my items (mostly sweets) to the register.
In this dream, which I remember quite vividly still, I was a detective tracking down a killer to an orphanage (I was a kid and so was everyone else in the world it seemed, so the orphans and the proprietors of the orphanage were, somewhat humorously, the same age) and when I found him amongst the orphans he stabbed me and I remember very vividly having the thought "I'm not going to be alive anymore... what am I going to tell everyone?" I was kind of preoccupied with death at this age. I also had Darth Maul face paint on, but that detail isn't very important.
The earliest dreams I remember are of falling. I remember falling off of cliffs, buildings, and tall trees. The most memorable part of these was always confronting the fact that I was going to die at the end, and waking up right before the moment of impact with the realization that I was going to live after all.
